Crisp Packet Recycling Workshop
November 2024, in the Art Room, An Lanntair we held a free drop-in demonstration with the opportunity to learn and practice the techniques used to make a Crisp Packet Project emergency blanket.
This workshop was in collaboration with Hebridean Coastal Stories, who were hosting an exciting event in AN Lanntair's Drum Room immediately afterwards.

An Afternoon of Hebridean Coastal Stories
We spent the afternoon with local environment leaders and a plastics researcher to discuss the socioecological impacts of marine plastic pollution on communities in the Outer Hebrides. Various encounters with marine plastics, beach combing, and the coast was shared. Complimentary refreshments were provided.
Coastal Community Fair
Tuesday 26th November 2024, 3:00 - 7:00pm
For people interested in learning more about local environmental organisations and who want to support small artists the event at the Uig Community Centre helped them to discover volunteer opportunities, hear about important marine plastic research, purchase upcycled crafts and more! Complimentary refreshments were provided.

Annual General Meeting
Thursday 12th December 7:00 - 9:00pm, Smoke and Mac, opposite the Town Hall, Stornoway.
Join us to hear what we've been up to during 2024 and our AGM. This will followed by a talk from Climate Hebrides as well as some delicious award winning pizza from Crust.
